Have you ever wondered:
What’s it really like to be a missionary—and how does one family answer the call?
What’s it like to travel from East Texas all the way to Ghana to plant churches and train national pastors?
How does a pastor and an author balance preaching, discipleship, writing, travel, and raising children while serving overseas?
On Sunday, August 24th at 10:00 AM and again at 11:00 AM, you’re invited to come to Grace Baptist Church and hear missionaries and pastor Joe & Laura Consford share their heart and vision for the people of Ghana.
Discover how the Consford family—sent out from Central Baptist Church in Center, Texas—has engaged in church planting, Bible institute teaching, pastoral mentorship, evangelism, literacy and school ministries in Takoradi, Ghana, partnering with the Hope of Africa Baptist Mission.
Responding to a calling that began in 2001, Joe & Laura are returning to Ghana after over a decade in Texas. They bring practical stories of gospel outreach—from opening Hardware on the Square coffee shop in Texas to distributing gospel tracts at truck stops, and now back in Ghana using skills like photography, discipleship, and education to reach unreached villages.
Join us to ask, listen, learn, and pray with the Consfords as they share what God is doing in Ghana. Event details:
